Free, and here is the catch
Not free-for-now and not free-until-we-raise. There is no paid tier and no billing code in the product. But you should know what you would be relying on.
What you get
- Every module, with nothing held back for a paid plan
- Unlimited calendars, tasks, contacts, debts and habits
- All four reminder channels
- The Windows and Android applications
- A full export of your data, at any time
- Account deletion that actually deletes
What you do not get
- An uptime guarantee — this runs on one server
- A support desk; there is an inbox and one person reading it
- End-to-end encryption: an administrator can technically read your data
- Any promise that a third-party plugin is safe beyond our review
Why free
Because it was built to be used by its author, and the marginal cost of letting other people use it is close to nothing. There are no adverts, because advertising would require tracking you. There is no data sale, because your calendar is not ours to sell. If that ever has to change you will be told before it does, not after.
